Embrace What Is : A Subtle Mindshift
We are only in charge of our own lives, paths and journeys. Sure shit happens. Life is not always a walk in the park. Indeed it is only really in the struggle and clearing away obstacles that we truly find clarity and growth. The world outside of our inner thoughts, perceptions, biases and values isn’t out to get you or out to help you. It just is. In all its impartial glory. Embrace that knowledge for personal empowerment. Acceptance of the “is” of the moment provides the path forward.

“To offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace, ease, and lightness. This state is then no longer dependent upon things being in a certain way, good or bad. It seems almost paradoxical, yet when your inner dependency on form is gone, the general conditions of your life, the outer forms, tend to improve greatly. Things, people, or conditions that you thought you needed for your happiness now come to you with no struggle or effort on your part, and you are free to enjoy and appreciate them – while they last. All those things, of course, will still pass away, cycles will come and go, but with dependency gone there is no fear of loss anymore. Life flows with ease.”
― Eckhart Tolle Spiritual teacher and Author.“Each of us is impermanent wave of energy folded into the infinite cosmic order. Acknowledgement of the fundamental impermanence of ourselves unchains us from the strictures of living a terrestrial life stuck like a needle vacillating between the magnetic pull of endless desire and the terror of death. Once we achieve freedom from any craving and all desires and we are relieved of all titanic fears, we release ourselves from living in perpetual distress. Once we rid ourselves from any impulse to exist, we discover our true place in the universal order. The composition of our life filament is exactly right when we accept the notion of living and dying with equal stoicism.”― Kilroy J Oldster – American Trial Attorney, Arbitrator, Mediator and Author.
“If what you have seems insufficient to you, then though you possess the world, you will yet be miserable.”― Seneca Roman Stoic philosopher and statesman.
“Some of the best things that have ever happened to us wouldn’t have happened to us, if it weren’t for some of the worst things that have ever happened to us.”― Mokokoma Mokhonoana is a philosopher, a social critic, a graphic designer, a writer of thought-provoking aphorisms, essays, and books, a satirist, and an iconoclast.
“Seek not for events to happen as you wish but rather wish for events to happen as they do and your life will go smoothly.”― Epictetus, Greek Stoic Philosopher
