Keep it Simple : Walk
Keep it simple. Walk. You are not embarking on this to lose weight. This is just for your greater good. Start small. Around the block, even less. Just go for a walk. Better yet – take the dog – and walk it every day.
While you walk it is tempting to run lists through your mind. Life is so busy it’s a miracle you can even find time. Keep the chatter to a minimum and yourself in the moment. You think you need to sit in solitude, cross-legged on a hard floor to meditate? Meditate while you walk. Reign in the thoughts, observe them. They are not of this moment and can add nothing to the enjoyment and opportunity of your walk.
Breathe. Be. Take a poop bag. Nothing ruins a good walk like the dog ‘doing its business’ on a busy road and you’re left holding, nothing.
